TFC 30th anniversary festivities kick off on a high note via Barrio Fiesta Dubai 2024

Judging by the easy familiarity and camaraderie among attendees, the presence of delicious Filipino food and drinks, the grandparents, parents and children having fun singing, dancing and playing games, a joyful party of love, fun and unity took place at one of the biggest community events in Dubai. Making it an extra special party to remember was the stellar cast of Piolo Pascual, Maris Racal and the love team of Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz who delighted thousands of fans with exciting song and dance numbers and interactive games.
The fun at Barrio Fiesta sa Dubai 2024 started even before the main show and leading to it!
Feeling at home like in intimate family picnics, the young and young at heart gave all that they got for fun and showcased their singing talent at the Tawag ng Tanghalan booth.
Recording and live performance artists Piolo and Maris navigated effortlessly from slow and smooth to fast and high energy numbers during their sets on the main stage, impressing fans with their showmanship and vocal prowess.
One of the most applauded production numbers was the song performance of Seth and the male vloggers of Dubai. Each vlogger had his own local fan base that represented with hearty cheers and giggles during the number.
Whether as the other half of the FranSeth love team or simply on her own, Francine shone like a true star, showing elegance, poise and confidence during her solos and duets with Seth.
TFC understands that fans want to see their favorite celebrities upclose. So, TFC organized a Meet and Greet for 30 lucky subscribers who had afternoon tea with Piolo and the ABS-CBN TFC officers.
TFC also had a Meet and Greet with Piolo, Seth and Francine that engaged the fans with photo opportunities.
Seth, Francine and Maris had their own immersion in the community by visiting the city’s Filipino school and one of the technical institutes. At The Filipino School in Dubai, a huge crowd of students, teachers and school administrators gave a very warm welcome to Seth and Francine. At the XPat Insider Training Center, Maris was welcomed and given a tour by the staff and trainees.
The huge number of attendees that showed up at the event enjoyed the various giveaways from sponsors and the large selection of Filipino food. The generous sponsors were very much part of the exciting experience for the whole family with Geepas, Lulu, MX3 and PAL giving out prizes the whole day.
ABS-CBN Global Head of Events and concurrent ABS-CBN Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa Joseph Arnie Garcia said: “There is no better way to launch TFC’s 30th than Barrio Fiesta in Dubai together with the Filipino community which has been the main reason why we’re still here after 30 years. TFC will continue to support and collaborate with them for the attainment of our common goal which is of service to the Filipino.”
