Invitation for Media Participation and Coverage of Chinese New Year Festival 2024  

We are pleased to extend a formal invitation to all respected media representatives to attend and  cover the Chinese New Year Festival 2024 at the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre on the 3rd, 4th,  10th, and 11th of February 2024. As a charitable non-profit organization, we will continue to strive  to provide more multicultural, meaningful and educational activities and programs to the public and  community. Please support our events and help promote the festival on your media platforms! 

Please find the festival details below for your information. We sincerely value your participation  and coverage in sharing the cultural significance and festive moments of our celebration with a  wider audience. Immerse yourself in two weekends of multicultural  performances, a vibrant vendor market, dragon and lion dances, art exhibitions, and more—all with  free admission for the entire community. Bring your family, friends, and loved ones to partake in  this accessible and enjoyable event.  

The Chinese New Year holds profound significance for the entire Chinese community, symbolizing  a cherished tapestry of heritage and traditions. This festive occasion fosters unity among diverse  backgrounds, honoring ancestral legacies, and inviting everyone to join in the celebration. It’s an  opportunity to showcase the depth and vibrancy of Chinese traditions, uniting individuals in a  shared celebration of culture, history, and togetherness. We can’t wait to welcome you to this  momentous celebration!
