MANILA – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has launched an online eligibility verification system that allows human resource management officers (HRMOs) of government agencies and the public to access civil service eligibility information.
In a news release Wednesday, CSC chairperson Karlo Nograles said that instead of requiring the submission of an authenticated proof of eligibility from applicants, the agency’s HRMO may now use the portal to check the eligibility of individuals.
“More importantly, it strengthens the integrity of the process of attracting, screening, and appointing individuals in government,” he added.
The Civil Service Eligibility Verification System (https://csevs.csc.gov.ph/user/eligibility), which was internally developed, is an online search platform that allows access to the database of eligible individuals who have successfully passed the Career Service Examination pen-and-paper test, computerized examination, and computer-assisted test.
It also includes those who have been granted eligibility under special laws and CSC issuances.
“This integrated system aims to cut the cost and time spent on the eligibility verification and authentication procedures on the part of the eligible, the HRMOs, and CSC verifiers,” Nograles said.
