Rex Baculfo is The Clash Season 5 Grand Champion

After giving his all and showcasing his incredible vocal prowess, Caloocan City’s simpatikong bokalista Rex Baculfo was named as The Clash Season 5’s Grand Champion!  

Along with Rex in this season’s Top 4 were ‘Feisty Diva’ Arabelle dela Cruz, ‘Baby Girl Biritera’ Liana Castillo, and ‘Sexy Songstress’ Mariel Reyes.

After the four performed, the judges deliberated who among the four clashers would compete in the final one-on-one clash.

The Clash Panel is composed of Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha, Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista, and Comedy Concert Queen Aiai delas Alas; and hosted by Clash Masters, Total Heartthrob Rayver Cruz and Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose.  

Rex Baculfo took the lead over the Feisty Diva of Laguna, Arabelle dela Cruz, through his performance of “Oras Ko ‘To”. The track was composed by “The Clash” judge and Asia’s Romantic Balladeer, Christian Bautista, and arranged by The Clash musical director Marc Lopez.

Rex Baculfo’s overall performance that evening made him the newest The Clash champ.

As the Grand Champion, Rex will take home P1 million in cash, a brand-new house and lot worth P3 million from Camella, and an exclusive management contract with GMA Artist Center.

Meanwhile, the three finalists won a consolation prize worth P100,000 each.
