Iconic “Voltes V: Legacy” airs on GMA Pinoy TV this May

GMA Network’s flagship international channel, GMA Pinoy TV, is excited to unveil its lineup of new programs this May, including the much-anticipated worldwide premiere of “Voltes V: Legacy.”

Set to air beginning May 8, the live-action adaptation will take viewers on a thrilling adventure with Miguel Tanfelix as Steve Armstrong, Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson, Radson Flores as Mark Gordon, Matt Lozano as Big Bert, and Raphael Landicho as Little Jon defending the earth from the evil Boazanian Empire. With cutting-edge animation and an updated storyline that still pays homage to the original series, Voltes V: Legacy promises to be a must-watch for fans of all ages.

Also premiering on May 8 is the romantic drama series “The Seed of Love,” starring multi-talented Sparkle actress Glaiza de Castro and highly-talented leading man Mike Tan. The show tells the story of Eileen (Glaiza) and Bobby (Mike), who form a child via in-vitro fertilization. Alexa, played by Valerie Concepcion, does everything in her power to destroy the couple and win his ex-boyfriend Bobby back.

For those on the lookout for informative content, “Resibo,” delves into various topics and issues affecting Filipinos today. The GMA Public Affairs program, hosted by Emil Sumangil, serves as a credible and reliable tool to hear grievances and complaints, expose wrongdoings, and take a proactive stance by providing concrete actions that will give hopeful resolutions to every case featured. The program will premiere on May 13.

Global Pinoys will also be able to catch the new comedy series “Open 24/7,” featuring an all-star cast that includes Vic Sotto, Maja Salvador, Jose Manalo, Sofia Pablo, and Allen Ansay.
Rounding up the May lineup is the groundbreaking collaboration of Kapuso and Kapamilya artists, in partnership with Viu, in “Unbreak My Heart.” The drama series stars Gabbi Garcia, Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, and Joshua Garcia.

In addition to these new programs, GMA Pinoy TV is also preparing a special treat for all mothers with an extraordinary lineup of GMA Pinoy Blockbuster. On May 7, viewers can enjoy the heartwarming comedy “D’Ninang,” starring Kapuso Comedy Queen Aiai delas Alas. Other films in the lineup include “You Are My Everything” on May 14, “Inang Yaya” on May 21, and “Nuuk” on May 28.
