Chinese New Year Festival 2023

We are welcoming the 2023 Chinese Lunar New Year with the biggest celebration to date. On January 14 and 22, 2023 at 12:00 noon, we will be having dragons and lions “eye-dotting” ceremony, Dragons and Lions Dance performances. The Premier of Alberta, the Mayor of Calgary, and representatives from all three levels of government are among the special guests. The event will feature the only Baby Dragons in Canada, as well as other music and dance programs, martial art demonstrations, a variety of family-friendly games, and an indoor market selling unique gifts and an assortment of food and festive treats. Free admission! 

Our Chinese Lunar New Year event, which is supported by hundreds of volunteers, performing groups, and community partners, attracts well over 20,000 visitors each year. We look forward to seeing you all at the event!
