LEGENDS SINGING WITH LEGENDS
During their recent media conference at the Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN, the band confirmed that this is their last hurrah together in the Philippines. However, outside of the Philippines, they are very open to doing a world tour.
The band also expressed their excitement for a historic first in the Filipino music industry: through hologram technology, they will perform with the late Filipino rap pioneer Francis M on stage, promising a brand-new experience for attendees and livestream viewers.
As if that’s not big deal enough, no less than Mr. Pure Energy, Gary V, will join the band for a special guest performance. It’s legends singing with legends.
Another welcome feature for audiophiles is the 18-piece AMP orchestra which will perform with the band. Buendia reminded fans and viewers not to be late in watching the show as they will have “one hell of an opening number.”
Fans can expect to take a nostalgic trip listening to the biggest hits of Eraserheads, as well as a discovery trip via fresh takes on songs from their lesser-known albums.
Directed by Paolo Valenciano, the concert will also feature notable musicians Jazz Nicolas of Itchyworms, Mikey Amistoso of Cuidad, and Audry Dionisio who is also a music industry executive, sound engineer and video director.
