MANILA – President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has named broadcaster Erwin Tulfo as the next secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
In a press briefing on Monday, Press Secretary-designate Trixie Cruz-Angeles said Tulfo, brother of Senator-elect Raffy Tulfo, accepted the offer along with four others to join the incoming Cabinet of the Marcos administration.
Aside from Tulfo, Cruz-Angeles said Christina Frasco, who is the spokesperson of vice president-elect Sara Duterte, will serve as secretary of the Department of Tourism.
She said former Manila Rep. Naida Angping will lead the Presidential Management Staff.
Angpin is part of the presidential transition team of Marcos’ camp.
Marcos also nominated Amenah Pangandaman to lead the Department of Budget and Management, while Ivan John Enrile Uy will head the Department of Information and Communications.
Pangandaman served as DBM assistant secretary, while Uy chaired the Commission on Information and Communications Technology.

Too early to pick and assigned those people on the said positions. In my opinion, there should be elections as well in the said position as it will held liable in the cpuntry’s Budget and credibility. Appointee must be a well known and an expert too. They should not rush by this time. Plan and think it over. Hope they will pick the-not-so corrupt person.
