‘Marry Me, Marry You’ scheduled to air this September 13
The invitation for the upcoming series “Marry Me, Marry You” has been delivered to the public.
Actress Janine Gutierrez cordially invites everyone to the wedding of her character, Camille, and Andrei, the role of actor Paulo Avelino, in the ABS-CBN teleserye which is set to premiere on September 13, after the airing of “Huwag Kang Mangamba” on the Kapamilya Channel.
“Just say yes? Save the date!” Janine wrote in an Instagram post.
The story revolves around Camille and Andrei, two individuals who came from families that are worlds apart, but fate made them cross each other’s paths.
ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment unveiled the first look of “Marry Me, Marry You” in a 10-minute video last June, with its cast and directors sharing their thoughts about the series.
Sharing her goal for the teleserye, director Dwein Baltazar said, “I wanted something na the audience can come home to, bukod sa relate to, ‘pag pagod sila or nade-drain na sila sa life. ‘Pag pinanood nila ‘yung show, may comfort silang mararamdaman dito; parang mini-sanctuary na pwede nilang maging takas (I wanted something that audience can come home to, aside from just something they can relate to, whenever they are tired or drained in life. When they watch the show, they will feel comforted; it’s like a mini-sanctuary that can be their escape).”
Director Jojo Saguin, meanwhile, said she wanted viewers to get inspiration and hope from the show.
“As much as possible, our goal is to be light pero nakakapagpaiyak ng tao (As much as possible, our goal is to be light but can still make people emotional),” Jojo said, adding, “Dito ita-try natin na ibahin, although kahit siya’y light, may kirot sa puso (We will try to make it different that although it is light, it will still be heart-touching).”
“Marry Me, Marry You” is Janine’s first teleserye as a Kapamilya star. She became part of ABS-CBN in January.
In the same video, Janine expressed how excited she was working for the first time with most of the teleserye’s cast, saying it was ‘super fun’ on the set.
Paulo also shared that he was thrilled to join forces with Janine and other actors in the series.
“[I’m] very excited because, kumbaga first din ito ni Janine na teleserye dito sa ABS. I’m always excited to work with people na hindi ko pa nakakatrabaho dito, not just Janine but a lot of the cast as well ([I’m] very excited because it is Janine’s first teleserye with ABS. I’m always excited to work with people whom I have not worked with here, not just Janine but a lot of the cast as well),” the leading man said.
In “Marry Me, Marry You,” Janine and Paulo will be joined by Cherry Pie Picache, Vina Morales, Sunshine Dizon, Edu Manzano, Teresa Loyzaga, Lito Pimentel, Jett Pangan, Joko Diaz, and Jake Ejercito, among others.
