Rocco Nacino, Melissa Gohing are now married couple

Two months following their engagement, Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino and volleyball star Melissa Gohing happily announced that they are now husband and wife.

The couple shared this on Instagram as they posted their wedding photos aboard a naval ship.

“Yes… we.. did.. 21- 1 – 21. Meet my wife, Mrs. Melissa Gohing Nacino,” Rocco proudly announced.

In the photos, the actor, who is also a Philippine Navy reservist, was wearing his white uniform at their wedding. He also wore a black suit as seen in the other photos.

Melissa, meanwhile, dedicated a sweet message to her husband, saying, “I don’t just want to marry you to be with you forever and live happily ever after but because marriage is not easy and it’s a lifetime of ups & downs.”

“You’re the only person I know I can go through all those hurdles with. It’s hard work but it will be worth it. You are my once in a lifetime,” she added.

On the other hand, Rocco shared in his other Instagram post that he got worried about the weather forecast on their wedding day. As there was supposed to be a higher chance of rain for that day, he said he was already thinking about a plan B, but thankfully, everything went well during the special event.

“I learned that as you raise all your concerns to God, He will listen and surprise you. True enough, we were gifted with the beautiful sunset and weather we were dreaming for. Not one raindrop,” he wrote.

Rocco said he was thankful for Melissa because for someone like him “who easily snaps under stress,” he has his wife who “teaches me to see the positive side of every bad situation.”

“I’m so excited for the married life with you my love!” the actor told the volleyball star.

Rocco and Melissa got engaged in November. They marked their third anniversary as a couple in September.
