‘Finally, we are expecting!’ Rachelle Ann Go announces pregnancy in new vlog
From sharing how their love story started to how her husband proposed to her, Filipino theater star Rachelle Ann Go has now revealed in her latest vlog that she and husband Martin Spies are expecting their first child.
“Martin and I have been married for two and a half years now, well, two years and seven months to be exact. Maraming (A lot of) ups and downs, lessons learned, but they said ‘di ba the first year or two of marriage that’s the hardest part kasi parang adjustment period pa lang ‘yan (because that is just the adjustment period),” Rachel said in a video titled, ‘New season in the Spies family!’
“But today, we’re not going to talk about our marriage because today is something special, something more special. We’re so excited to share with you this news,” she added.
The almost 10-minute vlog then showed a video clip of the happy couple, with Rachel revealing her baby bump then transitioning to Martin’s reaction, who was seen smiling from ear-to-ear the first time he learned that his wife is pregnant on August 10.
“Finally, we are expecting! And also, I don’t need to hide my tummy anymore noh? Lagi kong tinatago eh (I’m always hiding it),” Rachel said.
“We are so grateful for this new season, this new blessing. I cannot believe it, I’m gonna be a mama! Mama Shin and Papa Martin,” she continued.
While they already found out the gender of their baby for more than a month now, the couple is planning to reveal it to the public when Rachel gives birth in March 2021. Rachel said they will be giving updates on her pregnancy, but for now, they have already begun preparing the nursery room.
“Keep us in your prayers as Shin’s pregnancy continues,” Martin said.
On October 2, Rachel uploaded a video on YouTube where she narrated how she and Martin found their way to each other, hoping to inspire people with their love story.
