28-year-old Yohan of K-pop boy band TST dies

Many local and international K-pop fans were shocked and saddened by the news of Yohan’s passing, a member of boy group TST.

KJ Entertainment, the group’s agency, confirmed the news, saying that the artist passed away last Tuesday, June 16, but did not disclose the cause of his death.

“The late Yohan’s family is currently in deep mourning,” the company said in a statement quoted by Allkpop.com.

Yohan’s loved ones, the agency said, “has pleaded that media articles about Yohan’s passing, such as those making speculations about the cause of his death, be refrained out of respect.”

Soompi reported that Yohan will be laid to rest on a cemetery in Yongin.

In January, TST, formerly known as Top Secret, released their fourth single album called “Countdown,” with four members joining the comeback — Yohan, Ain, Junghoon, and Yonghyeon.
