MANILA – No Filipino has been diagnosed with the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in Vietnam, Charges d’ Affaires to Hanoi Paul Vincent Uy confirmed on Friday.

“There are 4,991 Filipinos here in Vietnam and sa awa ng Diyos, walang Pilipino ang nahawa ng Covid-19 (There are 4,991 Filipinos here in Vietnam and with God’s grace, none of the Filipinos here has contracted Covid-19),” Uy said in a Laging Handa briefing.

Based on the latest data from the World Health Organization, Vietnam has 328 confirmed Covid-19 cases with zero deaths as of June 4.
