DOJ welcomes 17 new prosecutors

MANILA — The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Wednesday announced new prosecutors appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte for vacancies in the National Prosecution Service (NPS).

In a statement, DOJ spokesperson Undersecretary Markk Perete said the following have been appointed:

Ruby Jane Sintin Pena – DOJ, NPS, Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP), South Cotabato, Prosecutor I (Associate Provincial Prosecutor);

Lilian I. Sahiron-Juljani, Sharina I. Tahir-Kanni, Shergine Causing Teh, Lynette Atilano Lacandalo – DOJ, NPS, Office of the City Prosecutor (OCP), Zamboanga City, Prosecutor I (Associate City Prosecutor);

Joan Farah Pader Ramos – DOJ, NPS, OPP, Ilocos Norte, Prosecutor I (Associate Provincial Prosecutor);

Marie Crystal May C. Vega-dela Serna – DOJ, NPS, OCP, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, Prosecutor III (Deputy City Prosecutor);

Charlie Lim Yap – DOJ, NPS, OCP, Olongapo City, Prosecutor III (Deputy City Prosecutor);

Anthony Ronar Benamer Cruz, DOJ, NPS, OCP, Prosecutor II (Assistant City Prosecutor);

Ulric Quintan Badiola, DOJ, NPS, OCP, Prosecutor III (Senior Assistant City Prosecutor);

Ronnel Sambu Castro, DOJ, NPS, OCP, Prosecutor III (Senior Assistant City Prosecutor);

Emily Gilos Merced, DOJ, NPS, OCP, Prosecutor II (Assistant City Prosecutor);

Mark Anthony Malgapo Nuguit, DOJ, NPS, OCP, Prosecutor III (Senior Assistant City Prosecutor);

Susan Tadong Villanueva, DOJ, NPS, OCP, Prosecutor III (Senior Assistant City Prosecutor);

Ravi Rose Siasat Cristobal, DOJ, NPS, OCP, Prosecutor II (Assistant City Prosecutor);

Gina Amatong Bedaña, DOJ, NPS, OCP, Prosecutor II (Assistant City Prosecutor); and

Christine Francisco Lorenzo, DOJ, NPS, OCP, Prosecutor II (Assistant City Prosecutor).

Also appointed were:

Suseyline M. Bakino-Abtarul, Public Attorney’s Office, Regional Public Attorney (Public Attorney V); and

Marilyn Gargantiel Estaris, DOJ, Office of the Government Corporate Counsel, Deputy Government Corporate Counsel.
