MANILA — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority’s (TESDA) radio program, “TESDA Abot Lahat”, will be aired in the regions soon.

Chief TESDA specialist, and “TESDA Abot Lahat” host Floramel Joy Songsong on Friday said having this radio program will provide a “regional flavor”.

Currently, it is being aired weekly, from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. over 702 DZAS-FEBC Radio. It can also be viewed online via febc.ph, Facebook Live and through the FEBC PH STREAM app.

While this can be heard nationwide and can be viewed online anywhere in the world, Songsong noted that the regional versions will provide TESDA regional directors the chance to tackle issues and concerns in their respective areas.

“Our regional directors could then go directly to the nearest FEBC (Far East Broadcast Company) station to address issues in their localities. Furthermore, they could use their local dialect,” she said.

Songsong added that soon, the program’s regional edition will be heard in Isabela, Palawan, Legazpi, Bacolod, South Cotabato, Zamboanga, Davao and Tacloban.

Originally titled, “Tech-Voc Track ay Swak!”, TESDA’s radio program was launched in April 2018, to let the public know of TESDA’s various programs and reach out to special clients, as well as the target beneficiaries of technical vocational training and skills development.

It has been carrying the title, “TESDA Abot Lahat” since July 10, mirroring the agency’s tagline.
