As part of army training, Matteo Guidicelli shaves head
As he gets ready for his scout ranger training, the 29-year-old actor Matteo Guidicelli shared a photo of his newly-shaven head on his Instagram account.
On his post on Friday, May 31, Matteo wrote that he is about to undergo his 30-day scout ranging training, which is “said to be one of the most grueling programs in the Armed Forces.”
“Wish me luck!” he said.
It was then followed by another post, where he sported a scout ranger t-shirt and bald head along with a caption, “Rangers lead the way. No backing down.”
His fellow celebrities, like Erik Santos, Iza Calzado, Joseph Marco, and Ryan Eigenmann, among others, meanwhile, sent their message of support for Matteo as he goes on his new journey.
The Filipino-Italian actor took his oath as reservist of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) last April at the Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM) headquarters in Tanza, Cavite in April.
“I officially joined the Philippine ARMY today because I love my country.
I would like to thank the people that have been very supportive. Exciting times ahead,” he said, sharing photos of the ceremony.
“‘The rank is emplaced near their heart because it means only those who have the heart to serve will be fit to wear the uniform It is beyond the uniform, it is all about willingness to serve the country and being prepared for any eventuality,'” Matteo went on quoting the commander of ARESCOM, Major General Bernie Langub.

Matteo, last Tuesday, went to Zamboanga and Cotabato for “Kalilintad sa Timpu sa Ramadan.”
“Can’t wait to spend time with our kababayans (fellow countrymen)! It will be my first time in the area. Flying out now!” he said in his Instagram post, attaching a photo of him with officials of the army on board a plane.
