This December, Pinoys abroad can come home to a special musical extravagance as GMA Pinoy TV brings Kapuso stars to join fellow Filipino performers through “Awit Pasasalamat: A Tribute to Overseas Filipinos.”

Slated to happen on December 15 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila, witness a night of sheer Pinoy talent featuring no less than Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista and Kapuso actress Andrea Torres together with guest performers Joey Ayala, Rose Fostanes, Tanya Dawood, and many more.

“This show will serve as a warm welcome to our kababayans and we promise to make their stay even more memorable as they celebrate Christmas with their family and loved ones,” Christian assured.

“Para sa mga minamahal nating Kapuso galing abroad, hayaan po ninyong kami naman ang mag-treat sa inyo ngayong kapaskuhan.

At sana po through this show ay madama ninyo kung gaano kayo ka-special para sa amin,” said Andrea.

The special concert is organized by Advocates and Keepers Organization of OFWs in partnership with BANTAY OFW Inc. and JSP Events, and with the exclusive media partnership of GMA Network’s flagship international channel GMA Pinoy TV as their way of giving back for the overseas Filipinos’ sacrifices, hard work, and contribution to the country.

More importantly, in true Christmas and OFW spirit, the proceeds of the concert will be used to finance Pasay General Hospital’s equipment for its OFW ward.

Ticket prices for ‘Awit Pasasalamat’ are at P850; P1,200; P1,500; P3,000; and P5,000.
