MANILA — He may have needed to find another place to train due to the ongoing rehabilitation work at the world-renowned Boracay Island, but nothing has stopped Boracay-based Swedish fighter Zebaztian Kadestam from reaching his dreams.

Kadestam silenced the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur after knocking out Malaysian opponent Agilan Thani at the “One: Pursuit of Power” on Friday night.

Kadestam kept Thani from turning the bout into a grappling match and banked on his striking prowess all game-long.

The end came at the 1:56 mark of Round 3 when Kadestam poured on a flurry that Thani could not overcome, forcing referee Olivier Coste to call it a night.

Meanwhile, Trestle Tan dropped a unanimous decision loss to Park Dae-Sung of South Korea.

In a match that was added to the fight card at the last minute, Park, who was discovered through the One Warrior Series reality show, put up an impressive One debut, quickly taking Tan down the floor and banking on his ground-and-pound that Tan had to survive.
