Trough of LPA to bring rains in Mindanao: PAGASA
MANILA — The trough of a low pressure area (LPA) affecting Mindanao and easterlies or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean will bring scattered rain showers in some parts of the country, state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Wednesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the trough of LPA.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy due to localized thunderstorms.
Temperature is expected to be at a high of 36 degrees Celsius in Subic/Clark area and Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
Metro Manila’s temperature will be at a high of 34 degrees Celsius, Metro Cebu at 33 degrees Celsius, and Metro Davao at 32 degrees Celsius.
