3 weather systems affect PH: PAGASA
MANILA—Three weather systems affecting the country are expected to bring rainshowers in most parts of the country Thursday, state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its 24-hour weather forecast, Pagasa said the northeast monsoon over northern and Central Luzon would bring isolated light rains in the regions of Cordillera and Cagayan Valley; and the provinces of Ilocos, Aurora, and Quezon.
The tail-end of a cold front is affecting Southern Luzon while a trough of low pressure area (LPA) is affecting the eastern portion of Mindanao.
Bicol region and the province of Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms caused by the tail-end of a cold front.
The regions of Davao, Caraga, and SOCCSKSARGEN will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to a trough of LPA.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
