Easterlies to bring scattered rains Friday
MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the easterlies will bring scattered rains and thunderstorms in the eastern section of the country.
PAGASA weather specialist Sam Duran said the regions of Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Davao and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
Duran said the east to northeast winds will prevail on northern and eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao and coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and waters will be slight to moderate. (PNA)
