Did Angel Locsin make a Kapuso serye rating reference?

Angel’s comeback to the primetime series La Luna Sangre, received mixed reactions from the fans and non-fans of the trilogy (Lobo, Imortal, then La Luna Sangre). It was a mix of both surprise and delight, in which some even formed their theories on her new character Jacintha Magsaysay.

While some fans found her a ‘threat’ to the main stars of the series, Kathryn Bernardo as Malia, and Daniel Padilla as Tristan, known as ‘KathNiel’ or ‘KN,’ by ‘stealing’ the spotlight.

Angel has been replying to some users who are throwing their comments at her. She has repeatedly said that she is just an employee and this was all part of the management’s plans for the show.

Hindi po ako nilagay [sa show] (I was not included in the show) to make them look bad. Don’t bash someone with the intention of helping your idols show. It’s very disappointing,” one of her tweets said.

On a more recent tweet, she tagged the Twitter account of Star Creatives (@StarCreativesTV) when another netizen was criticizing her for the same reason.

However, one user managed to get more than her usual replies.

Twitter @PrincessAgent26 posted a screenshot of a Kantar Media rating, showing that Imortal got 21.9% with no indication on what episode it was.

The netizen said “Pakitingnan saan ang Imortal mo tapos lakas mo maka-tweet na kailangan ka sa show ng KN (Kindly look at where your Imortal is, before tweeting that KN needs you in their show).”

The actress tweeted back with smile emoticons, “Sa timeslot namin, mataas ‘yan. ‘Pag naging artista ka, at naabot mo ‘yung 52.3 record ko, balikan mo ko para makapag-sorry ako sa’yo (For our timeslot, that is pretty high. When you become an actress and you beat my 52.3 record, come back to me so I can say sorry to you).”

Her telefantasya Darna that was aired in GMA 7 in 2005 was able to get a 52.3% television rating.

Imortal was aired in ABS-CBN in 2010-2011, while La Luna Sangre is currently in the primetime slot.

While KathNiel was silent, they recently defended Angel in a media interview, saying that social media is not an avenue that should be used for cyberbullying and for spreading negative vibes.
