Wil on his will to live
A few days after his revelation, vlogger Wil Dasovich is on his first step on grabbing his chances of survival: his will to live.
Just like his usual videos that reflect his personality, his latest vlog is still wrapped with catchy music, ‘comic relief’ inserts and funny faces despite his condition. Wil is still on his track to happiness and positivity, as his day takes a turn for his pet scan, CT scan, and MRI.
“We know it’s cancer, but the next steps are to figure out how developed it is and what stage it is at,” he captioned.
The now-26-year-old vlogger who is celebrating his birthday on August 26 is keeping his promise of continuing his vlogging. His 13-minute vlog posted before his birthday is still full of various shots and editing techniques, as he was shooting and editing while at the hospital. Wil said that he has the courage to document his condition, believing that he ‘can get past through it’ as long as he keeps his positive attitude and healthy lifestyle.
He did admit that it was one of the ‘toughest things he has ever done’ as he was not best at keeping still – which was both literal and figurative as he later on said, “There’s so much I want to accomplish in my life, there’s so many things I wanna do.”
“There is that wall of doubt that I face inside of me and that sometimes weighs me down. I can’t continue to let that weigh me down,” he furthered.
The vlogger said that everything happened in just a snap and honestly, he was not ready for any of this.
“I’m really scared. I’m not gonna lie,” Wil confessed. He said that the only information he knows is that is ‘somewhere in his colon area,’ but he is still waiting for the results to know what stage it is at.
On his official page, he said that he was really thankful for everyone’s continuous love and support upon his big reveal.
“I had an amazing day and can’t wipe the smile off my face from all the heartfelt and wonderful messages/posts and kind words,” Wil posted.
Wil said that as a simple person, everyone’s support and share to his video is the ‘littlest and easiest’ thing that can make him feel better and happy. ”This is just the beginning but I’ll fight through this and well bounce back hard once this is all over. It’s a long journey ahead but I’m confident I can overcome anything from all that I’ve been through,” the vlogger’s hopeful words.
