Rainshowers in Luzon, Visayas Thursday
MANILA—The southwest monsoon affecting the western section of Luzon and the Visayas will bring light to moderate rainshowers over parts of these islands on Thursday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms will prevail over Ilocos, Western Visayas regions, and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Mindoro, Palawan and Negros Occidental.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rainshowers or thunderstorms, on the other hand, will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Light to moderate winds will blow from southwest over Luzon and the Visayas, and from southeast to south over Mindanao.
The country’s coastal waters will be slight to moderate, PAGASA said.
