PAGASA: LPA to bring rains over Luzon Monday
MANILA— The low pressure area last spotted at 600 kilometers off Basco, Batanes will bring rains over Luzon Monday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and central Luzon will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, it added.
Light to moderate winds will blow from southeast will over Mindanao, and from south to southwest over the rest of the archipelago.
The country’s coastal waters will be slight to moderate, PAGASA said.
