Wanted: PHP33.8-M worth of OV-10 engine spares
MANILA—The Philippine Air Force (PAF) is allocating PHP33.87 million for the acquisition of spare parts needed for the repair and overhaul of the engine system of one of its Rockwell “Bronco” attack aircraft.
The parts are for PAF OV aircraft with tail number 679.
Pre-bid conference is at 11 a.m. on May 17 at the PAF Procurement Center Conference Room of Villamor Air Base in Pasay City.
Bid opening is at 9 a.m.on May 30 at the same venue, PAF bids and awards chair Brig. Gen. Nicolas Parilla said in a bid bulletin posted at the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System.
The OV-10s are the PAF’s premier ground attack aircraft. Some six to eight units are still in service.
