No trading on April 28, May 1—PSE
MANILA—The Philippine Stock Exchange said Thursday that there will be no trading on Friday and Monday, April 28 and May 1.
Local markets will close on Friday after Malacañang declared April 28 as special non-working day in Metro Manila in line with the country’s hosting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit.
It will be a non-trading day for the local bourse on Monday in observance of Labor Day, a public holiday.
The PSE has its regular trading this day, with the PSE index down at noon.
All counters were in the red, with services leading the decrements by 1.18 percent to 1,616.38.
PSEi at noon declined by 0.62 percent to 7,678.79.
