QC resolves shortage of vehicles in delivery of health needs
MANILA–To augment the shortage of vehicles in responding to health needs of Quezon City residents, the city government through the Office of Councilor Roderick Paulate, distributed nine service vehicles to the City Health Department and five barangays.
The donation of the vehicles was authorized under City Resolution 6317-2015 authored by Councilors Raquel S. Malangen and Alexis R. Herrera which gave Mayor Herbert Bautista the go-signal to purchase the vehicles using the funds allocated to the office of Councilor Paulate.
Four Suzuki APVs were distributed to the City Health Department and five other units were distributed to Barangay Payatas, Barangay Holy Spirit, Barangay Commonwealth, Barangay Batasan Hills and Barangay Bagong Silangan.
“Naglaan po tayo ng sasakyan sa Health Department upang higit pang magampanan ng ating health workers ang kanilang tungkuling pangalagaan ang kalusugan ng mga residente,” Councilor Paulate said.
“At sa mga barangay, upang mas lalo nilang magampanan ang kanilang tungkulin. Magbigay ng serbisyo at higit sa lahat ang pagsugpo ng krimen at iligal na droga sa kanilang nasasakupan,” he added.
