LPA to bring rains over Palawan, nearby areas on Monday
MANILA–The low pressure area (LPA) last spotted at 175 km northwest of Coron, Palawan will bring rains over the province and other areas nearby, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Monday.
Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms is expected over northern Palawan, Mindoro, Bataan, Aurora and Quezon.
PAGASA also said the easterlies are currently affecting the eastern section of the country.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds will blow from east to northeast over Luzon and Visayas.
Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, light to moderate winds coming from east to southeast will prevail with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
