Tail-end of cold front bring rains over Visayas, Mindanao Wednesday
MANILA—The tail-end of a cold front affecting the eastern section of the Visayas and Mindanao will cause rains over the islands, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Wednesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains will be experienced over Mindanao, eastern and central Visayas.
The rest of the Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA also cited that the northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon.
Cloudy skies with light rains is expected over Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon provinces.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from northeast to east will prevail throughout the archipelago with moderate to rough seas, PAGASA said.
