S&R Membership Shopping mall coming to Novaliches

MANILA–The latest branch of the world-class S&R Membership Shopping chain in Metro Manila is opening soon in the fast-growing business district of Novaliches , now divided between Quezon City and Caloocan City.

To be called S&R Commonwealth, its spacious building is now nearing completion at the corner of Quirino Highway and Commonwealth Avenue, near Kilometer Post No. 20 in Barangay Kaligayahan, Novaliches, Quezon City.

It is scheduled to open by the middle of this year, according to S&R field staff members who are currently accepting applications for membership at the construction site.

The new exclusive and retail supermarket chain is rising at the former site of the closed International Steel Manufacturing Company (ISMC) in Barangay Kaligayahan. It is about a kilometer away from SM City Fairview, Robinsons Place Novaliches, and Ayala Fairview Terraces, all located also along Quirino Highway in Barangay Pasong Putik Proper, Novaliches.

Once it becomes operational, it is expected to cater to over half-a-million customers from both the Quezon City and Caloocan Ciity portions of Novaliches, as well as from neighboring Valenzuela City and the eastern Bulacan city of San Jose del Monte and towns of Norzagaray and Sta. Maria.

S&R Warehouse Club will also be joining Puregold North Commonwealth and Puregold Novaliches, SM City Novaliches and several SaveMore market outlets, among many other business establishments in Novaliches.

S&R Commonwealth will be the 12th branch of the exclusive supermarket club natiowide. The 11 others are in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig; Congressional near Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), Quezon City; Alabang, Muntinlupa City; Aseana-Baclaran, Paranaque City; Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City; San Fernando City, Pampanga; Mandaue City, Cebu; Imus City, Cavite; Davao City; Cagayan De Oro City; and Nuvali in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna.

S&R Membership Shopping Club is an exclusive wholesale and retail supermarket chain that caters only to registered members, meaning, one cannot shop at S& R without that exclusive membership identification (ID) card. This membership card can be used and presented to all S&R shops nationwide.

Gold membership costs PHP700, valid for one year.
