Martinez turns over to NBI recording of Php100-M bribe attempt on high-profile Bilibid inmate
MANILA –Lalaine Martinez on Monday night claimed that she has a recording which would prove of the alleged Php100-million bribe attempt on high-profile Bilibid inmates who testified against Senator Leila M. De Lima.
In a press conference at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Monday evening, Lalaine said that she has in her possession a recording which she has turned over to the NBI.
However, Lalaine refused to give details on whether what kind of recording she has in her possession, where, when and how it was taken.
She also did not disclose even the contents of the said recording.
On the other hand, NBI spokesman Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin confirmed that such an evidence was already turned over to them and the same will undergo “authentication”.
Lavin said that the recording will be used in the investigation by the NBI in connection with the bribery attempt on Bilibid inmates.
Likewise, Lalaine denied that she is a cousin of former Senador Jamby Madrigal, saying that, the former lawmaker is just her family namesake.
