”I already asked the NBI to conduct an investigation and apprehend the perpetrator/s of this heinous crime,” Aguirre said.
Aguirre said Mingoa was one of his associate lawyers during his private practice prior to becoming a prosecutor wherein he described Mingoa as a good man and a competent litigator.
Mingoa was shot to death early Wednesday morning in front of a restaurant along Commonwealth Avenue.
Mingoa is the second prosecutor killed since October 2016. Mati City Prosecutor Rolando Acido was ambushed by two unidentified men while on his way to the Hall of Justice in Mati City last October 26.
