Henares mum on Duterte’s proposal of 3-day processing in gov’t transactions
MANILA—Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Commissioner Kim S. Jacinto-Henares declined to comment on Thursday on the proposal of incoming President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to implement a three-day processing of papers in government transactions.
According to Henares, she could not say whether it can be done or not in the agency that she would be leaving behind.
However, Henares said that if such a proposal would be compelled, it can be done but the quality of work may be compromised.
She added that it also depends on the would-be-quality of work.
She noted that if it can be done with quality and with a little time, it is better.
Henares cited as an example the completion of the work in the footage of a cameraman who runs and in a haste, hence there is blurred footage, compared with the one who is only on a “steady” mode and produces a nice footage.

Anong sinasabi mo na compromised ang quality? Eh yung quality nangyayari ngayun sa inyong systema ngayun ay nagkakadaletse na or ridiculously compromised. Tamad at kurakot lang kaya ganyan ang pamamalakad ninyo.
