One man dead, another injured in Ottawa restaurant shooting

OTTAWA—The Ottawa police force’s Major Crime unit is investigating a shooting in restaurant that left one man dead and another seriously injured.

Officers were called to the scene on Cobden Rd.

late Sunday afternoon.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other man was taken to the Ottawa Hospital where he remains.

A search is continuing for the shooter.

No names or other details have been released.
