HALIFAX – A mixed bag of weather is threatening to disrupt travel plans across the Maritimes.
Environment Canada says a trough of low pressure is expected to slide south of the region on Sunday.

The national weather forecaster says snow is expected on Sunday and Monday, but it’s too early to predict how much.
Rain is expected to turn to snow Sunday evening in Nova Scotia, with the potential for extended periods of ice pellets.
Meanwhile, Environment Canada says New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island should brace for a winter storm.
