MANILA — The Philippine National Police said they were happy about the “peaceful” Iglesia ni Cristo rally.
Chief Superintendent Joel Pagdilao, PNP-NCRPO Director on Monday said that though, it caused a lot of traffic in Metro Manila, the four-day rally ended peacefully.
“We are very happy na ito ay isang peaceful activity bagamat apektado ang traffic,” Pagdilao said in an interview.
He added that the INC leadership had been very cooperative during the rally.
“Sinasabi nga namin na safety and security, not only of the INC members but of the general public is our concern,” Pagdilao, head of Task Force Metro Manila Shield said.

The four-day rally ended on Monday with the number of people going down to around 12,000 by 8 a.m.
