Derek Ramsay promotes Star Cinema film

MANILA – Former Kapamilya actor Derek Ramsay, who is now under the rival network, TV 5, is promoting a film under Star Cinema.

Ramsay will be starring in a film directed by Gino M. Santos entitled, “Ex With Benefits.”

He will be playing the lead in the said romantic drama under Star Cinema, the movie production arm of the Kapamilya network.

Ramsay will also be featured in the action flick entitled, “Pangil,” which will be released by Skylight Films.

“Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope this will lead to better things,” the actor said during a press conference for “Ex With Benefits.”

“Looks like things are going to that direction,” he added.

“TV5 has allowed me to promote, too. (ABS-CBN and I) will limit our relationship strictly to the movies. This is out of respect for TV5.” He just renewed his contract with the Kapatid network early this year.
