MANILA — Is Julia Barretto dispelling rumors that she and Liza Soberano have an ongoing rivalry?
Barretto recently posted a photo of herself with Soberano on her Instagram account.
The post has the caption: “Rivalry? What rivalry?!”
Soberano also posted a photo with Julia on her Instagram account.
“Love you @juliabarretto,” Soberano said in the caption.
Barretto posted another photo with Soberano with the caption “Sorry, Quen. Today Liza was mine.”
She was referring to Enrique Gil, Liza’s ongoing partner.
The rumored rivalry between the two young stars came after reports that Marjorie Barretto, Julia’s mother didn’t like it when Gretchen, the former’s sister congratulated Soberano for the success of “Forevermore.”
In a report for the Philippine Star, editor Ricky Lo published a column claiming that Marjorie had a falling out with Gretchen after the incident.
This was allegedly because Marjorie considers Soberano as Julia’s “rival.”
