Enrique eagerly awaits Liza’s 18th birthday; claims “may forever”
MANILA — “May forever po. Promise (There is forever),” claimed Kapamilya actor Enrique Gil when asked about fellow Kapamilya star Liza Soberano.
Gil said he is waiting for Soberano to turn 18 on January 4, 2016, before he starts to formally court the young actress.
“Alam niya na first in line ako (She knows I’m first in line),” Gil said in a report by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph), referring to Soberano’s (probably long) line of suitors.
According to Gil, he got along really well with Soberano’s family during their visit to the United States for the promotional tour of their movie Just The Way You Are.
He even shared that one of Soberano’s relatives already calls him “manugang” (son-in-law).
When asked about his chances with Liza, Gil joked, “Oo, sagutin na niya ako (Yes, she’ll say yes to me).”
For now, Gil is happy that Soberano knows how special she is to him.
“Well, para sa akin, parang sinasabi ko, kahit walang label, basta alam niyang special siya, okay na sa akin (Well, for me, I said it’s okay even if we don’t have labels yet. As long as she knows she’s special to me, I’m okay with it),” he said.
