Pacquiao visits Mary Jane Veloso in Indonesia

MANILA — Boxing champ and Saranggani Rep. Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao was reported to have visited Mary Jane Veloso, a Filipina convicted for drug trafficking in Indonesia.

Migrante International confirmed Pacquiao’s visit to Veloso, who is now on death row.

Reports of his visit came after Migrante International said that Veloso’s name may be included in the announcement of complete names of those scheduled for execution through firing squad on July 17.

Veloso’s possible inclusion in the list has yet to be verified with the Indonesian authorities according to Department of Affairs spokesman Charles Jose.

On Tuesday, Pacquiao, shared a photo of him and his wife on Instagram with a caption saying they were heading to Indonesia.
