MANILA — Roughly two weeks after resigning from the Aquino Cabinet, Vice President Jejomar ‘Jojo’ Binay continues to lambaste the current administration.

Fresh from his son JunJun Binay’s temporary resignation as city mayor, VP Binay delivered a strongly worded speech during the formal launch of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) party at the Makati Coliseum Wednesday afternoon.

(We are fed up with the lack of basic services. We have had enough the insensitive and inept government. We have had enough of all the finger-pointing, mud-slinging, and deceit. We have had enough of this progress which only benefits the few.)

Hindi ito samahan ng mga tamad, usad-pagong at teka-teka (UNA is not a party of failures and the callous. This is not a party of people who are lazy, turtle-paced procrastinators),” he added.

VP Binay also had a few choice words about his potential rivals in the 2016 presidential race, saying in Filipino that when it comes to facing the problems of the country, the people need someone with experience and not newcomers who are still getting used to governing the land and serving the people.

He also referred to the current administration as a government weakened by bribery and intimidation after delivering the promises of the UNA Party who vows to listen to the three branches of the government.
