PLDT exec’s wife found dead in Laguna
MANILA — The wife of an executive of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. was found dead inside a car in Biñan City, Laguna on Sunday.
Following days after Gloria Gonzales, 47 was reported missing, her dead body was found inside an abandoned car, according to Senior Superintendent Florendo Saligao in a report for the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Gonzales, wife of John R. Gonzales, Vice President & Head for Corporate Relationship Management of PLDT, was reported missing since June 25.
She was seen leaving their house in Parañaque City onboard a Toyota Innova, the same day she was reported missing.
Saligao said that the car with a plate number UOS 146 was found around 9 a.m. in Barangay San Vicente.
Chester Gerodias, a villager reported that he saw the said car parked outside his residence along Bautista St.
He added that a foul smell coming from the car and a fluid leaking from the inside prompted him to ask assistance from the village officials and the local police.
The police then forced open the car and found Gonzales body covered with a blanket at the backseat.
Authorities are now investigating the incident.
