2015 MMFF lineup revealed, will screen historical to comedy films
MANILA – The 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMF) announced the eight official entries that will be shown starting this December 25.
“The lineup offers a mixture–meron tayong historical, comedy…This year, we hope to reach P1.
2 billion in the box-office,” MMFF chairperson Atty. Francis Tolentino said.
The eight movies included in the lineup are:
Beauty and the Bestie (Starring Vice Ganda and Coco Martin; Directed by Wenn Deramas)
Death and Senses (Starring Rayver Cruz and Jason Gainza; Directed by Randolph Longjas)
Haunted Mansion (Starring Janella Salvador, Marlo Mortel and Jerome Ponce; Directed by Jun Lana)
Hermano Puli (Starring Aljur Abrenica, Enzo Pineda and Alessandra de Rossi; Directed by Gil Portes)
Mr. and Mrs. Split (Starring Kris Aquino and Herbert Bautista; Directed by Antoinette Jadaone)
Nilalang (Starring Robin Padilla and Japanese star Maria Ozawa; Directed by Pedring Lopez)
Rom-comin Mo Ako (Starring Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai delas Alas; Directed by Jose Javier Reyes)
Walang Forever (Starring JM de Guzman and Jennylyn Mercado; Directed by Dan Villegas)
Should any of the eight entries back out, Conman starring John Lloyd Cruz and Meryll Soriano and directed by Erik Matti and/or Lakambini starring Lovi Poe and directed by Jeffrey Jeturian will be shown instead.
