Angelica Panganiban gets lifetime achievement award
MANILA — Angelica Panganiban recently received the Bert Marcelo Lifetime Achievement Award from Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc. 46th Box-Office Entertainment Awards.
Through her Instagram, Angelica shared the good news and thank her family and supporters.
“28 pa lang po ako.. Pero binigyan nyo na ko ng lifetime achievement award . salamat sa lahat ng nag bigay sakin ng opportunity para magkaron ng trabaho. Pero mas salamat sa pamilya ko.
Dahil sila lang ang inspirasyon ko simula nag artista ako. I love you guys!” Angelica posted.
(I’m only 28 but you gave me this lifetime achievement award. Thank you to everyone who gave me the opportunity to have a job.
I’d like to thank my family more because they served as my inspiration when I started in the showbiz industry. I love you guys!)
The actress started at the age of six and was first seen in the youth-oriented show “Ang TV.”
She then starred in various shows including “Rubi,” “Apoy Sa Dagat,” “Vietnam Rose,” and her most recent teleserye, “Pangako Sa ‘Yo.”
She also did award-winning movies including the movie “That Thing Called Tadhana” which earned her various acting awards and recognition including Best Actress in 2015 Gawad Tanglaw and 2014 Cinema One Originals Film Festival.
Angelica is also nominated as Best Actress in the upcoming 38th Gawad Urian Awards for the same movie.
