Six persons confirmed dead, 4 hurt in collapsed wall in Bulacan

GUINGUINTO — At least six persons were killed and four others were seriously injured when a wall of a warehouse building along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Ilang-Ilang collapsed.
Based on the report, the incident took place at around 3:30 p.
m. when a wall of a warehouse owned by certain Dante Chua collapsed, pinning down the barracks of the workers.
The victims were immediately brought to the nearest hospital.
As of this time, teams from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and Bulacan Provincial Police Rescue Team are still searching for victims buried under the rubble. It was not ascertain yet howmany people were still buried under the rubble.
Meanwhile, Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado said the provincial government will conduct deeper investigation on the incident.
Reports have it said that the steel bars used in the collapsed wall were substandard.
