PAGASA issues rainfall advisory in 17 provinces in Mindanao due to ‘Seniang’

MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a rainfall advisory in 17 provinces of Mindanao at 11:40 a.m. Sunday due to tropical depression “Seniang.

”

PAGASA said moderate with occasional heavy ‪‎rains‬ are affecting portions of ‪Zamboanga de Norte‬, ‎Bukidnon‬, ‎Camiguin‬, ‎Misamis Oriental‬, ‎Lanao del Norte‬, ‪Compostela Valley‬, ‎Davao City, ‎Davao del Norte‬, Davao del Sur‬, ‎Davao Oriental‬, Cotabato‬, ‎Agusan del Norte‬, ‎Agusan del Sur‬, ‎Surigao del Norte‬, ‎Surigao del Sur‬, ‪Lanao del Sur‬ and ‎Basilan‬ which may persist for two to three hours.

PAGASA advised the local residents to be alert and take precautionary measures against possible flashfloods and landslides and gusty winds and keep monitoring for weather updates.
