Cebu lass, Kris Tiffany Janson, bags second place at Miss Intercontinental pageant

MANILA, Philippines—Another Filipina has made it on the roster of international beauty pageant winners. Kris Tiffany Janson bagged the 2nd runner-up spot (or third place) at the Miss Intercontinental pageant held on Friday morning in Magdeburg, Germany.

The 24-year-old financial analyst and native of Cebu City was also given the Miss Photogenic award.

The top title was won by 19-year-old Thailander, Patraporn Wang; while 22-year-old Jeslie Mergal of Cuba was named 1st runner-up (second place).

Janson is the second Cebuana beauty this month to place in an international pageant. Five days ago, Jamie Herrell, also from Cebu City, bested 83 beauties from across the globe in the Miss Earth pageant.
