‘How can you debate with a liar?’ – Binay’s camp

MANILA –Having a debate with Senator Antonio Trillanes IV will be pointless because he is a “liar,” according to United Nationalist Alliance interim president Congressman Toby Tiangco on Thursday.

“Wala naman akong worry doon sa debate. Ang sinasabi ko lang, paano ka makikipagadebate doon sa isang tao na hindi nagsasabi ng totoo? Walang pupuntahan ‘yung debate na ‘yun. I am confident na mapapatunayan ni VP [Binay] sa taumbayan na siya ang tama dito,” Tiangco said in an interview over Radyo Inquirer 990 AM.

(I am not worried about the debate. All I am saying is how can you debate with a liar? That debate is pointless. I am confident that VP Binay will prove that he is right.)

Tiangco added that though he do not want any debate to happen, he remains confident that the Vice President will be proven innocent.

“Bakit pa bibigyan ng pagkakataon si Senator Trillanes? Why will you honor what he is saying?

” Tiangco added.
