MANILA — “Vice President Jojo Binay is happy and thankful that 70 percent of Filipinos are satisfied with his performance,” Remulla said.
“It makes him more committed to bring the issues directly to the people and perform his duties,” he added.
The survey, conducted on Sept. 26-29, indicated that Binay retains a “very good” rating with 70 percent satisfied and 17 percent dissatisfied, or a net satisfaction score of 52 percent. His rating also remains the highest among government officials.
In the same poll, SWS recorded a net satisfaction score of 36 percent for Senate President Franklin Drilon; 13 percent for House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr.; and 10 percent for Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
SWS used face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults nationwide. It classifies net satisfaction ratings of +70 and above as “excellent”; +50 to +69 as “very good”; +30 to +49, “good”; +10 to +29, “moderate”; +9 to -9, “neutral”; -10 to -29, “poor”; -30 to -49, “bad”; -50 to -69, “very bad”; and -70 and below, “execrable.” It also has a ±3 percent sampling error margin for national and ±6 percent for area percentages.
